The truth is Android was first created in 2003 by Andy Rubin, who first started out growing the OS for virtual cameras. quickly, he found out that the market for digital digicam running structures perhaps wasn't all that big, and Android, Inc. diverted its attention towards smartphones.
It wasn't till 2005 that Google bought Android, Inc., and even as not tons approximately Android became known at the time, many took it as a signal that Google could use the platform to enter the phone enterprise. eventually, Google did enter the smartphone commercial enterprise — but now not as a hardware producer. as a substitute, it marketed Android to different manufacturers, first catching the attention of HTC, who used the platform for the first Android cellphone, the HTC Dream.
starting with that lowly running machine going for walks on the HTC Dream, we could have a look at the variations of Android we've got seen considering that.
