First of all i will give a big Kudos to Facebook something that Mark Zuckerberg planned to be based on Harvard university alone went global. As of now October 2016 Facebook has 1.71 Billion Users and 850 Million are active. Right now Facebook is worth Over $350B and has 50 companies inculding Whatsapp and Instagram.
