Facebook is Planning To Allow You Post Animated GIFs in Comments

Facebook is considering rolling out features that will allow users post animated GIFs in comments boxes as they keep on improving the world's largest social media platform.

So this is an interesting update especially for those of you that likes GIFs. The social networking service may soon start supporting animated GIFs.

To begin with, users would be allowed to post GIFs in comments.

In their statement "Everyone loves a good GIF and we know that people want to be able to use them in comments," a Facebook spokesperson said. "So we’re about to start testing the ability to add GIFs to comments and we’ll share more when we can, but for now we repeat that this is just a test."

For a start, the feature will be available to only a few Facebook users, and if the feedback is encouraging, it will likely be rolled out to all Facebook users.
