Play Ps4 Games On Your Pc On PlayStationNow! - To Be Released Later This Year

A few years ago, Sony unveiled a streaming game service for the PS4 called PlayStation Now. With a PS Now subscription, PS4 owners are be able to stream PS3 games on PS4 without actually having to download them. Eventually, the service made its way to PC as well, and later this year the service is growing once again as Sony adds PlayStation 4 games to the streaming library for the very first time.

In a post on the PlayStation Blog, PS Now Senior Marketing Manager Brian Dunn announced that the team will kick off a private test with a selection of PS4 games on the service “in the next few weeks.” If you already subscribe to PS Now, keep an eye on your email, because you might get an invite to the closed test.

It might be a coincidence, but this sudden reveal comes on the heels of Microsoft announcing the Xbox Game Pass for Xbox One owners. Although Microsoft has chosen to offer games downloads rather than streaming for its $9.99 monthly subscription service, it's a similar concept, and one that Sony had to match.

While the addition of PS4 games is a major upgrade for the PS Now service, the price is still frustratingly high at $19.99/month. You can save some money by choosing to $44.99 3-month plan instead, but it's still $15 more than you'd be paying for the Xbox Game Pass. Plus, Sony didn't provide the name of a single PS4 title that will be included when the service grows later this year. We're cautiously optimistic
