God Of War(2018) Leaked Release Date Was Seen In PlayStation Store

The official PlayStation Store might have leaked the release date for the upcoming God of War.

Over the past year, various placeholder release dates for the new God of War have surfaced, including a listing by a Portuguese retailer and one from the actor who portrays Kratos, Christopher Judge, who mentioned a 2018 release.

The most recent release date comes from two regional PS Stores – Chile and North America – which both listed the PS4 exclusive with a release on March 22 next year. At the moment of writing, the release date has been changed back to December 31, 2018 however.

While Sony usually releases big titles on a Tuesday or Friday, March 22 is also the release date of the original God of War from 2005, which might mean that Sony intends to release the new God of War installment on the same day as the original.

An exact release date hasn't been provided by Sony, but they did conform that the new God of War will release in early 2018 for PS4.
