WhatsApp Group Video Call Feature Spotted!

Earlier this month, WhatsApp announced the coming of Group Video Calling feature. Just recently, the feature is beginning to appear to user’s phone on Android and iOS versions of the app.
The feature allows a user to add up to four participants on a single video call from a group or from the contact list. Users which have WhatsApp 2.18.145 on Android and above can see the feature. And users who upgraded to version 2.18.52 on iOS has this feature.
While making a video call, these users can see an option to add participants on the call window. So, tapping on the option would allow users add participants from their contact list.

How can I know if I have the feature?

    • Open your WhatsApp app.
    • Make a video call to one of your contacts.
    • Look for “Add Participants” option on the window.

If you are able to see it, you can enjoy but if not, you should wait for its global rollout in the coming weeks.
