How to enable biometric authentication on Whatsapp for iPhone(ios).

The Famous & Widely Used social media platform 'Whatsapp', has now added another interesting feature for the Iphone(iso) users, the "Biometric Authentication", which encompass "Face ID" and "Touch ID" on iOS. Your Whatsapp is totally secured.

This most recent feature is included in the lastest WhatsApp version 2.19.20 for iOS device. Once you have enabled the Face ID or Touch ID feature, the app will be completely protected, so the user will need to authenticate his/her identity in order to open WhatsApp. It will protect the entire app, it means the feature doesn't add the additional security to your individual WhatsApp conversations.

How to enable the Authentication Feature.

First & foremost, update your Whatsapp to the latest version. 2.19.20

Next up, you Lock the WhatsApp app with Either of the Authentication methods by going to Settings > Account > Privacy  > Screen Lock.

Also, Once you moved to the Screen Lock, the app shows the available authentication method - either Face ID or Touch ID - that you can enable to lock your WhatsApp.

Lastly, You will be let to choose whether you want the Biometric Authentication requirement immediately or after an duration of a minute, 15 minutes, or an hour.Et.c
